A couple years ago I purchased some RGB strip lights for our Christmas tree, just to mix things up and have something different. They were relatively inexpensive and could be controlled via bluetooth and wifi. After tinkering with it for a while, I settled on a cycle of colors that felt “Christmassy” enough and did my best to diffuse the lights so they weren’t just sharp points of bright colors in the tree.
This is a complete rewrite of my previous tutorial on how to get vGPU’s working with a consumer grade Nvidia GPU in Proxmox 7. A lot has changed since dual coder initial release of his vgpu_unlock code and things got a lot simpler if you have a compatible Nvidia GPU supported by driver 460.73.01. If your GPU is not supported by this driver you’d have to patch and build the driver yourself.

When I was growing up in the 90s, I remember wanting to get on the Internet. My parents weren’t going to help me, so I called up an ISP and said I wanted to set up an account. They asked for my name and I gave them a fake name. And then they asked for a credit card number and I told them I had to find my wallet and call them back.

Commissioned by DesignSpark, which turned 10 in July 2020, I proposed the concept of Radioglobe to celebrate their landmark birthday. Devised in a 2x2m shed, during 2020 Covid Lockdown, on a shoestring budget, with only Zoom calls to communicate, RadioGlobe allows the user to explore thousands of the world’s radio stations by spinning a globe.
